I've been taking Ambien for years with no problems. I guess it just effects people differently as with any drug.

I try to go to bed with one of those "nature sounds" CDs playing in the background. I sleep fine until it gets to the section with the waterfalls. Then I have to get up and journey to the loo.

Taking Ambien for years? What kind of doctor would prescribe that? That can't be right/legal/ethical

It is. There's lots of people that take it long term.

I'd rather someone looked at what was causing me to seek out such drastic measures to be able to sleep. Then again I suppose I can't comment much on taking drastic measures to achieve something...

well yeah, but I was typing with gloves on and didn't feel like backing out and starting all over again.. can't get a new job soon enough! I'm sick of living in the ice box.
