Right now she's still enduring some shear and infiltration of dry air. However, she does have a clear center of circulation, something that she lacked all this time.

Tonight we'll see how much strengthening she does.. she's still over warm waters and the upper level conditions will remain favorable for strengthening. If not much happens tonight, it will probably remain a tropical storm at landfall anywhere from the TX/MX border to south of Corpus Christi.

Impacts in San Antonio appear to be enhanced rain chances .. we could see around 1-4" of rain Wednesday through Friday.

Thanks rd, SA78228 for the kind words!

Dolly has turned to the west... she's battling dry air right now which is limiting activity on the east side of the storm. However, she is still managing to get organized and trying to get an eye going as the main convection is wrapping around the center of circulation.

Tonight will be very telling as to how powerful Dolly will be at landfall.

I generally agree with the current NHC track with a landfall around the Texas/Mexico border.

Here in San Antonio, we're looking at brief gusty winds and pockets of heavy rainfall (much more scattered than areas south).

Well I would think by Friday it has come thru. I'd keep the reservation and see how it unfolds. Give a call to where you are staying on Thursday.
