Almost 3 inches so far out here this weekend! WOOHOO! And it's only 66° at 1:30 in the afternoon! We're going to have some flowers blooming like crazy after this!

Our rain gauge was maxed @ 5" this morning around 7. Our pond was about 6" low and now is overflowing, so have to assume we got at LEAST 6" here in the evil 78250 area!

I went to HEB this am and it was kind of messy. The right side of the street headed toward HEB was all flooded and gross. Like that area has a tendency to get a little water on the road, but now it's heightened because of the construction.

That is one thing I have trouble getting use to here... it either pours
rain or just don't rain for days... weeks on end.

I did not notice any flooding while driving around Schertz earlier today.

over here on the far westside, nothing looks too bad. no opbvious wind or rain damage (other than twigs and leaves knocked loose) around my immediate area and nothing more than ditch flooding. nothing to indicate a low level tornado touched down not that far from here! we were fortunately awake for much of last night's storm and got a nice show and a cool refreshing shower for many hours. i'm actually pretty surprised our fence hasn't fallen over yet. that old thing is ready to go!

Man, it was refreshing to see the rain, but as I was walking from the busstop to work, I could see how bad that pave job was on DeZavala across from walmart. City workers had to come out because the asphalt was being kicked up and disintegrated by the rain and cars running through it. After all the rain drained away, they put down some sheet metal or something over a giant pothole in front of Culver's, and I could see all the asphalt chunks laying along the side of the road....

They just changed up the traffic patterns on Saturday. What a big mess. When the lanes were closest to the post office, the roads would flood so fast it was unbelievable.

Thanks Beretta! Haha I know my videography leaves much to be desired. I just enjoy documenting when it does rain here, it helps me during the droughts.
