Those few panhandlers at Bandera Rd. & 1604 are not homeless people...they are professional panhandlers, who do this for whatever reasons of their own and only at major highway intersections. They have cars and some place to stay. Yesterday I saw only ONE...not exactly large numbers, there is never tons of them. I'm not afraid of those people. They want money, not to murder you in front of dozens of witnesses...I never give them any money and not one has ever harassed me about it.

Wow....really?

"Professional Panhandlers". Awesome.

How about LOSER BUMS?

The only guy or girl that's going to get my money is someone that is missing a limb, is disabled, or has their kids out there with them, in which case I'm going to try to do more than just give money.

The kids are a ploy. If it is during school hours, one should call the law.

The best I saw lately was a women in a big new pickup. She was driving around in Huebner Oaks and called to me. Thought she wanted directions - but she started how she had no gas money, blah, blah.

I didn't get too close by the way. Huebner Oaks had some robberies with a similar scenario. Talked to her from a distance.

So...had the privilege of going to HEB Plus on Potranco to pick up some ice cream. I knew it was a dump, but wow...had no idea how dumpy it has gotten. It reminded me of Wal-Mart on Military and 410. Yuck. I am SO glad I did NOT buy in Trophy Ridge.

I'm loving that small HEB on New Guilbeau. Yes, everyone go to the new one....leave the little one alone with minimal traffic.

Another Central Market is what we really need...not another trashy HEB Plus!

What makes it dumpy? Admittedly I only go there for the sushi and deli sandwiches so I dont really "shop" there per se.

There is a reason that Wal Mart on Military looks the way it does. Blame the evacuees of a certain hurricane for that one. They trashed it months after it opened.

H-E-B Development San Antonio 32 New
What makes it "not an HEB Plus"? At 179 ksf that is enormous! The Boerne HEB Plus is supposed to be 110 ksf. This is significantly larger. And that parking lot too is huge.
