I wonder whether anyone has information about keeping a boat in San Diego. Some things I am interested in:
- How much it might cost to keep a 30ft boat in a slip or on a mooring?
- Are spaces readily avalable in marians or one needs to get on a waiting list?
- Are there any marinas in the North County or they all are in San Diego and Mission bays?

Thanks!

We used to keep our 30 ft cabin cruiser in Mission Bay and it cost $350.00 per month, but that was over 3 years ago. There was a waiting list, but we had no problem getting in right away. However, we were really nice to the office personnel. Chula Vista has a brand new marina where hwy 54 meets I-5 but I'm not sure the name of it. Chula Vista used to be the least expensive. Up north is Oceanside harbor but I know about 3 years ago there was a wait list of up to 2 years. I'm not sure now though as we sold our boat. Best of luck to you.

One more thing. The boat slips right by SeaWorld were the least expensive and the guy who manages it likes chocolate!!!

Anyone know the current waitlist for any of the marinas for live aboard options?
