Do the stores you shop at not have sales papers every week?
All the ones I shop at do, and the new ads always start on the same day each week. Two of the stores have their ads come out on Tuesday. So while neither the 1st nor the 15th fall on a Tuesday this month, they do in December. But even still, you don't have to shop on the very first day. If you get paid 3 days into the sales week, why not just shop then?
