As far as I know she didn't deny taking the product.

This is the country banned from the Olympics for doping. They’re somehow allowed to compete as the Russian Olympic Committee. Now it’s been demonstrated that there is still cheating going on. And then the pathetic lies of “Oh, it must have been the grandfather’s Rx” when they detected a cocktail of cardio enhancement drugs in her bloodstream.

Very emotional ladies final. Valieva had been the leader but fell to fourth because of an error-filled free skate. The runner-up was gold medalist and Trusova was very upset with her silver because with three more quads he thought she should win gold. The Japanese rounded out third.

Regardless of any doping, or not, or whoever's fault it was for her positive test in December, I felt bad for Kamila Valieva. I could see in her eyes before she even started skating that she was unnerved. I give her props for finishing that performance at all.

Between that and Alexandra Trusova's emotional outburst, a flawless performance by Anna Shcherbakova almost went unnoticed. She was spectacular.

Did anyone else stay up late last night hoping to see Finland vs. Slovakia men's hockey semifinal, only to be "treated" to the final 16 seconds of the first period in between skiing and a repeat of the Canada-Sweden curling semifinal? Argh. Fortunately I remembered I get Peacock Premium with Comcast ... and then fell asleep in the second period. Did USA show more of the game? Why was the game on the schedule and not shown, and why in God's name did we see a repeat of the curling match that was shown a few hours earlier?

Shocking what some will try to win and using this young girl for their purpose.. scandalous.. The 15-year-old Russian figure skating star who recently had a positive drug test result during the Beijing Olympics reportedly had three substances in her sample.

The substances in Kamila Valieva's system were used to treat heart conditions. They included trimetazidine, a drug forbidden by antidoping officials.

The New York Times reported that hypoxen and L-Carnatine, also both heart medications, were also found in her system. Those drugs, unlike trimetazidine, are not on the banned list.

The point is, the combined cocktail of all three shows clear intent. Unless she has legitimate medical issues, which she obviously doesn't due to not having a waiver for the TMZ, she doesn't need to be taking any of them.
