Okay, "one day" recently.

2012, on the other hand...

Ah, shifting goalposts.

We had a 98 on the 4th, nothing higher than 95 otherwise, plenty of 80's.

I don't think it was near 100, but it was very humid. Perhaps they were looking at the heat index.

Given that, I have always thought St. Louis traffic was no biggie, with exception of the occasional rush hour catastrophe..... We have a rush HOUR here..... as opposed to a rush ALL-DAY-LONG in Houston and other overcrowded cities.....

Other than 270 and of course having to drive in the occasional snow and ice, Stl traffic isn't terrible. Even in SWFL the traffic is a lot worse in general than St. Louis especially during season. The roads seem a lot more congested than St. Louis. Up in Tampa metro even though the metro is same size as stl, the traffic seems more congested and st. pete, tampa area the highway system is a lot more confusing to me than St. Louis.

Overall St. Louis road set up isn't too bad. I'm talking both the city and county. Compared to the rest of the country, it's not too hard to navigate.

Even Port Charlotte to my north isn't a huge town and traffic is much worse than it is in St. Louis suburbs when driving on 41 and it's a small town lol.

I don't know what it is about FL drivers, but especially on the interstate they're terrible drivers. Many drive way too fast and even will cut you off even if there is no one in front of you and plenty of space. It's not just the immigrants bs because the whites drive just as bad too.

I watch a lot of dash cam videos on Youtube* and that helps me accept St. Louis traffic. But I still try to get away from cars with no drivers, i.e., the ones where the only occupant in the car is busy on their cell phone. Add the Pokeholers, and things just get worse.

Whenever you are the first one to arrive at a red light always honk your horn in case the ones behind you aren't paying attention.
