I have no problems with the state of FL. I am a weather freak and live, eat and sleep weather 24/7. I just hate the almost never ending west windflow we get most of the summer when i can go weeks with no rain. Now the last 3 days is what i love, getting 10" of rain. I love rough weather and love weather change. I get bored with the same weather day after day.

I never knew what 4 seasons are like. I was born in Tampa and never left the area.

Not debating humidity or realfeal, just extreme heat, Tampa does not have this.

Considering it's very short-lived out there and Tampa has heat indexes over 100 for 5-7 months of the year, apples to oranges.

Heat indexes over 100 for 7 months ???? That is quite an exaggeration.

After half a decade in Tampa, I'm starting to really miss chilly (not cold) weather. I miss Fall and early Spring. And mountains, or at least some decent hills. Definitely moving when the time is right.

LOL! You will be learning a new definition of extreme heat, in your new location. Trust me. Florida's warmth is much more stable.
