Different strokes, different folks.

Sounds like parts of California may be better for you. Too dry for me, but a lot of people who do not enjoy humidity like it out there better.

You are young. Make the most of life while you can. Trust me, you never know when you won't be able to do the things you want to.

I already lived in California. Besides, I'm not even living in Florida right now and I won't in the future...just simply making a comment on how hot the weather there actually is.

puh-lease.

U can have ur seasons, I'll keep my sunshine, warmth, and palm trees all year. Thanks.
Hey dude, just cuz it's below 50 degrees does not mean it's frigid lol I wouldn't call it frigid unless it was near or below 0 degrees Fahrenheit. A light snow flurry at 28 degrees is hardly frigid. Most places in the lower 48 are not frigid for even one month. They're just cold and icy for 3 or 4.

(New Years trip to Minnesota planned though) The coldest I been in is in the teens and in windchills of around 6. But I don't exaggerate the cold. Honestly, in the low 20s I'm good to go in a few layers and gloves. I love when it snows in Texas, the air is so fresh. I find the 80s and humid like in FL to be exhausting. Even if you don't like the winter, don't exaggerate and make it sound like you're in Antarctica

Its like people who exaggerate the heat. Some make it sound like they would melt into the pavement if they ventured outside in the summer.

Is it really exaggerating though? You walk outside and you're sweating almost instantly.

You need to acclimate I suppose.

I was out mowing the lawn this morning and yeah, my headband and t-shirt got wet. However, if I was out just trimming bushes or yanking weeds I wouldn't be sweating much.

It is summer in the northern hemisphere. Check out this map. These are today's temperatures across the USA. Intellicast - High Temperatures Today in United States

Places along the Canadian border will be in the 90's today as will the entire Southeastern US.
Its not just a Florida phenomenon.

Looking at the map where would you rather be now and in winter?

Yeah everywhere in the US is going through really hot weather right now, even in places it is unusual. But I'd still rather be in those places. I'm in Europe right now and it was in the 90's last week, now it's back down to the 70's. Crazy weather.

Places in the US that have 4 seasons, this hot weather is just temporary and not the norm. So I'd take their weather any day.

I prefer 80+ outdoors at any given time. I dont like major fluctuation like 85f in summer and below 32f in the winter. Cant have nice flowering landscape, ponds nice plants, gardens and there are no nights sitting on the swing in the screened lanai when it goes below 70 outdoors Below 50f outside, my heating system gets put on. You may enjoy trudging through a foot of more of snow to get your mail, like shoveling out the driveway to get to work and negotiating ice covered roads and sidewalks while wearing layers of heavy clothing, ear muffs, gloves, scarfs, wool hats. I didnt.
