Optimus was asking like having 4 seasons means 5 months of snow, rain, and grey skies! Not true at all. A good example are the places you mentioned.

On the whole I find the few months of really hot weather preferable to the cold ones up north...and I don't think we here in Tampa Bay have year round summer...

It's longer than a few months. More like April to October.

I wish Florida would have more like California weather, not seasons but 55-65 degree weather like SF has, Florida cost of living is amazing for the winters thou, I am thinking about buying a condo in Florida just for the winters and leasing it out to people the rest of the year.

I'd even settle for LA weather.

LA weather is way way way better than Florida's climate, I would never live in LA the cost of living is too damn high, I am too cheap.

I lived there for a bit. LA weather is good, but it can change drastically depending on where in the city you are. I lived by the water there and would never live in inland LA. Living in inland Florida is even worse.

How long have you lived here? When we moved down from NY for the first 5yrs. I agreed with the April-Oct count...but starting around year six I began to think both April and Oct were not too bad...now on year 18 April & October are my favorite months...

I have lived here almost my whole life. It's ridiculously hot for 6-7 months out of the year.
