It's a legit question. But I guess those living in Tampa want to stay in that fantasy world.

But not a surge prob or flooding as this thing is gonna pick up speed and i don't seee local rainfall amounts being super crazy. This storm won't hang up and stall. Once it gets past our area forward speed will really pick up. 4 core hours of the worst for everyone then it moves away fast and winds come down fast. One hour will really be like the end of the world as the eye passes over rover.
As you know, we are just south of you in Manatee. The surge is what scares me, we are near the bay but buffered directly to the west by Longboat Key which my husband thinks helps some, but some around here don't think it will be that bad (surge). Do you see the same for here (what you described in above post)

Please don't use weekender weather hobbiests to make your decision. There are plenty of sites from Manatee and EOC recommendations for your area.

The rainbow loop is very strange. It does look as if it is making a northward turn, but something looks weird...is it even possible this thing boomerangs back across SE Florida and goes out into the Atlantic????

Since the storm is gonna make landfall closer to you than my house you would see higher winds and some surge compared to me. Not sure how close you are to the water or how high up your house is.

I am right on the gulf or saw grass i should say.
