So Theon is Ned's bastard too? Man.. Ned got around, didn't he?
tmozer is right, Theon was a ward of the Starks after Greyjoy's failed rebellion. But the "'real father" lament of Theon's just meant that Ned had been a better father to him than his own, not that Theon is Ned's bastard.
One thing about Ned's "real" bastard Jon Snow: In the books (and I'm just referring to the first 3 volumes) there are very few hints as to his mother's identity; I watched Season 1 again just before Season 3 started, and was surprised to hear that Ned actually tells somebody (probably King Robert) who Jon's mother was! Not going to give it away here, but if you watch the first 2 or 3 shows from Season 1 you'll hear him say her name.
I've been trying really hard not to give future plot twists away. If you choose to reveal what happens in later volumes/seasons, could you at least give it a "Spoiler Alert" tag? Thank you...
I realized I had done a spoiler myself, and I didn't even realize it. Sorry about that, folks!

I don't own season 1, and can't remember the first few episodes. If it's already aired long ago it can't possibly be a spoiler. So, who in season 1 did Ned SAY was Jon's mother?
Because, I've always thought (after having read all 4 books and watched seasons 1 & 2) that I don't think that Martin has ever TRULY revealed yet who Jon's parents REALLY were.
My personal guess is that Ned wasn't really Jon's father. Instead, I think Jon was the bastard of Ned Stark's sister Lyanna and Rhaegar Targaryen (Daenerys's brother, who would have been king if he hadn't been killed by Robert Baratheon and who ran off with Lyanna before she was supposed to be married to Robert.) That is a good explanation for why Jon looks like Ned (his sister's son) and sets up some possible dragony kingy conflict with Daenerys in the future.
On the other hand, maybe not! That would make him Daenerys' nephew . . .

I am wondering if we will ever know the outcome of all the things book 5 left up-in-the-air. I wonder if George R. R. Martin or I will live long enough to see the end of the series (unless someone else finishes it).
& Now, he who verbally offended dear Daenerys...is a crispy critter......hahahahar...
believe, me, I was not unhappy to see him torched, he was a very mean man....
I love her, and her composure....
why, do some call her, Collessee? (spelling)
