Lapresi's is in Phelps, NY which is upstate in the Finger Lake region. The pizza parlor is pretty decent sized. I doubt they're struggling, especially since the family has been in the area for a few generations. If, as the articles above said, the whole family has been involved in the business, and they're very community-service oriented, why would Courtney need to go to Philly to earn a living? Just speculation...
Ah, Phelps...the memories, ha!
Bill La....better stop.
Courtney was the better cook this night, so she won fair and square. Elizabeth was being a little too bishy for my taste to boot. And what was up with her husband fainting? Did that seem so staged or what?

Gordon did not like her dessert. The whole show is staged!
Oh wow, I didn't think anything could spoil a cruise for me, but if I was lounging on the sundeck and I heard the "tap-tap-tap" of those ridiculous heels and that breathy, singsongy voice, I'd be leaning over the railing (to vomit or to jump, not sure which).
I still have the final eppie in my DVR not knowing who won until i stumbled upon an article online that said Courtney won. I just don't even want to watch it anymore LOL- I read that leslie mistook the sugar for salt and probably if it wouldn't have been for that he would have won? UGH!! what a bummer!
