I thought Jimmy Smits was fantastic last season as the rival killer. The writers did a great job showing the relationship budding, evolving, then dramatically changing. Thus far, I think season 3 was my favorite, mostly because I could believe Dexter's self-introspection and growth. It had other interesting storylines, such as the pregnancy and new relationships for Deb and Angel.

Lithgow as the villian is great casting, but guess I'll have to wait a year to find out how good he is.

Jimmy was awesome! I didn't know he had it in him Season 3 was pretty damn good, had me on my seat the entire season. Lithgow is one of my favorite actors, He should bring a good creepy quality to this season

I did. Lithgow is stalking another woman, and I think the next episode will be super creepy.

I didn't think season 3 was as great as the first 2 seasons, but this year they seem to be back on their game.

I don't like to see Dexter not on top of his "game" though!

Me neither. I do prefer the "old" Dexter

The first season was excellent, the second and third were decent.

Lithgow is a suberb choice for an interresting and creepy serial killer.

Rita should be getting up with Harrison at night so Dex can get some sleep. LOL. I don't think she's working outside the house.

I don't think Dex will rat out the guy that took the money at the crime scene. Not yet anyways, Dex has bigger fish to fry. But, I hope that he will scare him up a bit.
