That was so sweet at the end seeing the Mom and Dad walking off hand in hand.

To me, The Big Bang Theory has "jumped the Shark".

Long live Young Sheldon.

I also prefer Young Sheldon now.

However, not that TBBT was ever very realistic, but I think the way the series is developing makes sense. Over a decade most people mature...they grow up. And TBBT characters have grown up quite a bit; I would hope so. And, we the audience, have evolved, also...and like any other series EVER on television, people began to drift away after a period of time.

I never watched TBBT, but caught the premiere of Young Sheldon and absolutely love it! So far, my favorite show this season. I loved the dad's comment about "How'd I end up with one son who's a rocket scientist and another who's a rodeo clown?" I rewound that a few times. I like the character of Georgie. The kid who plays him is terrific.

I found this from Raegan and thought it was cute: She's definitely NOT an 80's kid as she says.

It’s a very common tv trope that stay at home moms put aside a little “pin money” that they consider is theirs. Lucy did it, Laura Petrie did it, Marie Barone did it.

I even knew women who did that in homes where the husband controlled the money. It didn’t in my home, my parents didn’t believe in that.

She didn’t consult because of the fight. It was part of the story line. It was an “I’ll show him!” Keep in mind, we already know the future — these parents don’t have a happy marriage, and the dad is going to start drinking more and is going to die by What? Sheldon’s 14th birthday?

I think it's healthy to know about finances in each couple with no hiding things...We always consult each other especially if it'd be for $1000 computer!!

It's a show. It's not real.

Entertainment purposes only.

Enjoy it for what it is
