I respectfully disagree that Allison is loads more talented than Kris. Kris is very good at playing the guitar and piano, is able to sing many different types of music, and has a style and personality that appeals to a larger audience.

Allison has shown only one side to her singing....rock. She's really good at that type of music, but it's getting a bit old now. And her style and "tough girl rocker" personality doesn't have a mass appeal. I think there's definitely a place for her in the music industry; I just don't think she can compare to the likes of Kris and Adam.

Who are the judges on Canadian Idol? Anyone quite like Simon?

It's a franchise of Simon Fuller, so the formula for judges is the same here: - an ascerbic judge Zack Werner (more of angry-ascerbic than snobbishly ascerbic like Simon)
- a former singer Sass Jordan (Paula parallel)
- a black judge Farley Flex (he's softer and more forgiving than Randy)
- a "brainy guy" Jake Gold.

- Ryan Seacrest's place is filled with Ben Malroney (not sure if he's a son of the former prime minister, but looks very much it).

Here they are:

Show Info - Canadian Idol - Official Site (http://www.ctv.ca/idol/gen/ShowInfo.html - broken link)

Quite possibly there might be someone streaming Can. Idol? Last Tuesday, it was raining and the satellite signal was interrupting for chunks of time. I found someone streaming the Idol concurrently on the Internet.

I googled and found a site, but I'm not sure if it's okay to post it.
