Keep in mind, the producers actually have final say on who the winner is. It's in the fine print. They're going to base their decision on a combination of fan votes and maybe more importantly since it reflects how much a contestant can sell commercially, on iTunes download sales (and we know Adam had 6 of the top 10 AI downloads that one time it got accidentally leaked). If for some reason the fan votes are in Kris' favor the producers can and probably will crown Adam as the winner of AI.

You're gonna vote for Adam? Wow! Just kidding. I'm not surprised.

But I'm gonna vote for Kris, and I think Kris did better tonight.

I think he outsang Adam on songs 1 and 3.

Probably won't win, but I think he should. Adam did clearly very well on the 2nd song and ok on the 1st song. But the last song? Huh uh.

Great season folks.

If Adam wins American Idol, congrats to him, his fans, the Cougar section!

Dinner was gr8.

Good night folks!

GO KRIS!! You are America's Idol!
Like I said, he's forgetable - the vast amount of Americans won't know who he is this time next year.

Broadway and Vegas for him. Kris will be a money machine!
Totally agree

I can see Adam doing a Vegas or Broadway show, and I can see Kris with #1 albums and selling out concerts.

There was a good post on the American Idol website -

words like "effeminate", "theatrical", - are code words for homophobia. These words make it okay to dislike an artist, though the real reason is hidden behind those words.

Can a mere mortal have a look at the fine print?

I get so tired of hearing them, don't you? It's like a broken record.
