The men got better last night. Not star quality but an improvement for sure. I think that rocker guy is going to win. Not caseybut the other guy.

I thought last night was definitely an improvement for the guys over last week's performances. The two that stood out for me were Michael Lynche and Lee Dewyze. Michael did WAY better than last week. I liked his look, LOVED his song choice and performance. Wasn't crazy about the song Lee Dewyze chose but absolutely love his voice.

I thought Casey was awesome on the guitar, but I liked him much better the first week. And I like Aaron Kelly but felt "My Girl" -- a classic and a favorite of mine -- was not the right song for him.

Looking forward to the girls tonight and hope that Crystal, one of my favorites, is out of the hospital and ready to perform.

Same here.
I also liked Alex Lambert, I really think there's potential there - though the poor guy will definitely need to choose another stage name (too bad he does this show a few months after Adam Lambert!)

"Lee Dewyze" is such a great name for a singer! Love it! Makes me think of that song----Too Shy by Kajagoogoo. They "eye to eye" part sounds like his name.

I am about ready to give up on this season of AI. The talent is really bad. There were a couple of good performances last night when compared to last week. But in reality were they really that good? Probably not.

I like how the some of the guys changed the arrangment of the songs. Aren't these the same judges that said "take risks"???!!! And when the poor kids finally do that the judges aren't happy with them and tell them--"you have done too much to the song". I would think changing the tune and arrangement of the song is very risky and it should be applauded if it sounds good. I thought the Tina Turner remake wasn't bad.

I think the Asian kid, and the kid with the guitar the one that they said was boring will go home. I really like Casey and that rocker dude Dewesszye(sp??) He sounded great!!! I also like big Mike

While it may not be the best group of contestants AI has had, I will continue to watch as it's interesting to me to see how they grow -- especially when it gets down to the top 12 and they get more help with their styling and everything. I do wish they'd get a different group of back-up singers, though!

I really liked Big Mike, Alex Lambert, and Lee Dewyze last night.

Totally agree with everyone else about the judges. They are so inconsistent this year....worse than ever.

I agree with you on both points.

First it's you gotta be more original dog....then it's you need to just sing. Huh?
