be careful between now and Sunday night's finale because the spoilers abound. The article I was reading didn't even imply such and just lead into information I did not want to know

It seems odd to me that they would have their final leg in a massively populated city. San Francisco? Come on! If you're going to race through a major metropolitan area, climb Coit Tower...of course there will be spoilers! Just like last season when people saw the teams in the airport in Hawaii.
They're going to have to have their final leg somewhere more remote. Even if it's not in the middle of nowhere, it makes no sense to have the teams running through San Francisco...in this age of camera phones and U-Tube... and then be surprised when there are spoilers all over the internet. My friend took a photo of a guy in a cowboy hat climbing Coit Tower a few months ago, so even though I didn't know the teams yet, it made sense once I realized the Cowboys were one of the top contenders.
There was a season where the race ended in Los Angeles. I will never understand why people feel the need to ruin a show by telling everyine what happened. Being "in the know" doesn't make you important. Esp when you know most people prefer to not know in advance and want to see the outsome for themselves.

Well, in fairness to my friend, we've been huge fans of the show for years and she heard on the radio that teams from TAR were climbing Coit Tower. She doesn't work that far from there so she ran over and took a photo to send me.
But, I guess there are those who aren't bothered by knowing the outcome of stuff. I don't care if I know what I'm getting for Christmas, but some people insist on things being kept top secret...same with knowing if your baby is a boy or girl. Myself...I'm a planner but in "planning" I also know I usually take the surprise out of things. I'm okay with it and have enjoyed this season even though I knew there would be someone on Coit Tower with a cowboy hat on.
As far as spoilers go...I do think people need to write "spoiler" before they post, but if you go to the internet and type TAR Spoilers, you'll see plenty. I suppose if you really want to know what happened, you can find out fairly easily. Me...I just like to enjoy the show and yell when necessary at my tv!
I don't care whether or not I read spoilers, I still enjoy watching my shows. Granted, with the spoiler tab on here, it is rude not to use it. CD put it there so we could talk about something if need be and not spoil it for those who don't want to know. That was gracious of them and not using it deliberatly is not being a gracious member. Just those that do not like spoilers, click on what is clearly labeled a spoiler and then complain bloody blue murder is also not being a gracious member for those of us who like spoilers! You can't have it both ways, my friends. Either ignore the spoiler tags and don't read or ferme la bouche!
I can't either tami! I'm going to wait even longer though, because I'm going to record it, and start watching after 30 or so minutes. I do this a lot to avoid commercials, and I don't want to have to wait through all of them tonight on the finale!
