This is ridiculous. Harry Reid is on CSPAN right now saying Republicans are "fillibustering" when he is the one who wont allow any votes. Don't you actually have to have a vote for there to be a "fillibuster"?

No, a filibuster is to prevent a vote.

But the point is you need an actual vote scheduled to have a fillibuster. That has yet to happen because of the actions of Harry Reid.

All heck broke out, they just went at each other and just decided to vote now. They are voting right now it seems. Its so confusing. they were going at it and just decided to vote.

Someone told me the vote already happened and the bill failed. They are now verifying the votes on reid's request. Or was he wrong? Dell posted something positive

Its live now and it just failed. Now they will vote on the original 3 month request.
