The wildest thing that happened was one night around 30 glowing translucent people walked in a somewhat line through the jungle on one side of the rig passing through the trees, plants, etc. like they weren't there. They were dressed in those old time clothes like the Mexican movies in the 20's or 30's and no sound what so ever. Some of the rig hands fell to their knees praying others turned their backs and squeezed their eyes shut and a few along with me just stood there taking all of it in dumbfounded. The Federal Soldiers stationed around the rig did the same. So many people, soldiers included quit that night and the next morning I had to be sent back to the compound and after 3 days got sent back stateside. I was briefed at the compound and after signing several forms I was told not to speak of it and only allowed in my room and cafeteria under armed escort until I got to leave for the U.S.

Interesting!

Hopefully, things are good/better from now on.

When I was in my early 20's I worked at a mall in the San Francisco area. The back store room was laid out odd in that you walked through the door into a hallway of sorts . You could go left into the main store room which was no more than 24' by 30'. If you didnt turn left into the main store room you could go about 10' straight and then turn right down another hallway that was about 12-15' long. This led to a door for delivery.

Most of us working there were early 20's (20-22 year old) females and then the store manager who was in her mid 30's and assistant store manager about the same age.

None of us liked that back room.

When the delivery bell rang we would play rock paper scissors to see who would go back to answer the door.

There was just a weird vibe back there.

The managers must have known it because they were always having us try to decorate the back room with party stuff to "make it cheerful"

One night I was closing the store with one other gal. After locking the entrance from the mall at 9pm I was in charge of counting out the registers , calling in our figures for the day to the home office, and some other accounting type things. The other gal was in charge was folding clothes etc. to get the store ready for opening the next day.

Usually there was music playing but we turned it off at closing so we could concentrate on stuff.

As I was counting out the cash registers we kept hearing a knocking "thud" sound from the back room. Of course we were completely terrified. I knew I had to go back there to lock up stuff, get my hand bag from my locker etc. We went back together and nothing. Silent.

This went on for about 30 minutes. We would hear the thuds go check , nothing go back to the front and they would be there again.

I wizzed through closing the registers and the things that absolutely had to be done while the other gal was just waiting to leave.
We couldn't get out of there soon enough.

We shared what happened with the other gals I worked with and they all said something was just "off" about that space. We were not the only ones to have the experience.

I posted on here about my mildly haunted former workplace.

Amusingly the business is so busy that people never notice the weirdness. I just saw something odd because I was in back, working.

Yikes, I would have quit real fast!

My wife did. Small 300 year old in on Cape Cod. Beds would get wildly unmade moments after she would make them (and left the room for under 10 seconds), and she was the only housekeeper.

It would be interesting and fun to install cameras and see exactly what happens when the room is left.

I can believe it becauses the school is old. I'm so glad I haven't had ny experiences there & it's going on my 2nd year working there. I admit all this ghost stuff does give me the creeps!

Any workplace hautings & stories?
I worked as night security at a cemetery I was told by other people that worked there that it was hunted. I'm not sure if I block it out or if the phenomena just don't make themselves known to me. I did find it creepy particularly the mausoleums but never had any paranormal experiences there.

I always wondered why such places are often associated with that sort of thing. Perhaps it's sorrow.

I guess certain people more than others tend to experience the paranormal. I don't seem to...at least I hope I don't! However, I have felt the same funny feeling in a few different places I've been in my life. It's the kind of overall unpleasant, odd feeling like I want to get out of that immediate room fast & one of those places is known to be haunted...the restroom this air museum. The other places were in the restroom of this old building on the grounds of a mental hospital, so I'm sure it's haunted. Also, the restroom of this other place that I don't know to be haunted, but I still had that same odd feeling. I have no idea why it's always in these places' restrooms. Odd!

Places like cemeteries seem to just have more energy, even though the person didn't actually die there, so that's a little puzzling to me. Maybe it's the fact there are so many dead people altogether in one place.
