You know, there are people out west or up north that are just as ignorant when it comes to the UK. It's not just a southern thing. I *was* going to mention the constant bashing of southerners as another pet peeve.
Yes it is! LOL just messing

I must have a great interest in cultures, the US. I can name every US state on a blank map. I just have an interest.

I am pretty sure I could label the majority of the English and Scottish counties on a blank map, but then I am a map freak and ate it up when I was there. Still get my AA road atlas out every now and then and brush up on places. Yes, I am a true nerd.

Afraid I would get lost in the Welsh counties. Maybe if I had a list of the names and then could connect them to the counties, I might do OK, but being Welsh words and not sure of the pronunciation, I kind of shied away from getting to know Wales like I should. didn't keep me from going to Snowdonia more than once, tho.

OK, I did say majority, you would have to go pick an obscure one. I am sure it is Scotland and not England or Wales.

Living in Surrey as I did, I would do best starting in the south of England and it would get sketchier the further north I went.
