And speaking of the lows... the streak was broken because it was below.

33 nights in a row above normal.

And something that surprised me. This coastal low happening now is not common for July. I didnt know that. I knew in June it wasnt but July too now?

Lots of tstorms last night, mostly in the southeastern suburbs. Despite their 23.2 mm, the low in Melun was 19.7°C. So tepid rain at least.
The lightning show was nice to watch from afar. Overhead storm here later in the night.

Stuffy in some Med locales, currently 32°C/90°F with a 27°C/81°F dew point (42C/108F heat index) in Grazzanise, north of Naples.

Memphis International came close to tying a record low this morning. The low was 67 almost breaking the record of 66 (Yes, that's high, most of the July daily record lows are in the 50s). But since the airport is screwed up most other areas were in the lower 60s, including West Memphis and NWS Memphis

Normal High at International Falls, MN today is 78°. They are currently at 58°F at 1:30pm. 58 degrees on a July afternoon. How sweet that is!
