Lovely day here today. It was a bit chilly in the morning. Even in the afternoon, it felt nice, especially with the breeze. And very sunny. Today felt way more like mid-September than mid-August, that's for sure. And right now it's a refreshing 57F/14C.

850mb temps over Virginia is in the single digits(C°) That is near record lows!

Did we all think this would last in August? Not me.

Summer returns to the East.

850mb temps into the 20sC and High pressure overhead = Heat

This is for next weekend

1022mb High Pressure in control from the Mississippi River, Tennessee and northward. Almost lunchtime and 60s are across the board. Wow!

Current temps are 5-20 below normal across the board from plains to the East. Probably see record low Max's 2day

You must have a nice cross wind. Mine is 73 and I'm almost in the mood for the A/C to be on. If the wind stops blowing the A/C motor will be going. lol
