7pmEST. Lytton Canada is 97°F degrees. Miami Florida is at 84°F
Normal high for Lytton is 77°F. Normal high for Miami is 90°F

Even though there's a time difference Miami didnt pass 90F today.

NWS Los Angeles, California

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater

"There was some additional cooling across the coast and coastal valleys of Los angeles county this afternoon. the marine inversion deepened suddenly from 500 ft to around 1700 ft as a strong southern push of cool moist air pushed in into Long Beach and worked its way up to LAX early this afternoon. Wind gusts were around 25 mph with this cooler surge along the LA coast. This deeper marine layer als...o allowed for significant cooling once the peak heating occurred around 1 pm today. With this deeper marine layer in place...the excessive heat warning has just been cancelled for the Los Angeles County valleys...but will continue for all other areas for now. I posted a picture of some sub-tropical moisture pushing in across LA county. This will pass through later this afternoon and early evening. for LA and Ventura counties."

I think normal high for Lytton is a bit warmer, 1971-2000 avg high is 28.1C (about 82F).
Lytton has the distinction of having highest temp for BC ever at 112F (44.4C) in 1941.

High temps today include 94F at Osoyoos, also towns like Lillooet and Spences Bridge near Lytton also in mid 90s today. Not too unusual for the area.

Another humid day with the dewpoint in the low 70s for most of it. Current temperature and dewpoint is 70 F/21 C and 66 F/19 C, respectively. I could see the humidity in the air. No end in sight from this terrible weather. Lowest temperature in the forecast is 68 F/20 C.

Yuck. That's one thing I like about living in inland PA, the dew points here are lower than on the coast

I'm not on the coast though. But maybe I'm close enough where there's enough of an effect.

Highest dewpoint today in Mount Pocono, PA was 68 F. I actually spent the day farther east in Northeast NJ and the dewpoint there was 74 F. I live in Northwest NJ. I guess it creeps up by a couple degrees the farther east you go.

I got a dew point of 72°F in inland Massachusetts. It's been at that since mid-morning.

High of 85°F here, down to 74°F. I could definitely tolerate this day after day, much better than winter. But not my ideal summer weather. Summer is short; summer is getting wasted with subpar days.

Didn't you used to like high dew points? Your weather preferences are even more unpredictable that your political preferences.
