Where I currently live we just had an average temperature (night AND day) for the month of February of about 6.8 degrees F.

59F AVG low in January. 35-40 coldest temp per year on average! Last 7 years 39,32,42,43,44,44,39 (my pws)

Average record low officially is about -8°C (18°F), average record min high about -4°C (25°F).
As for my personal weather station which has data going back to 2006:

Average lowest record low: -9.8°C (Period 2006-2015)
Lowest record low: -15.2°C (2012)
Highest record low: -5.2°C (2015)

Average lowest minimum high: -5.0°C (Period 2006-2015)
Lowest record: -8.1°C (2010)
Highest record: -2.2°C (2007)

Usually -9.4C in the average year. Most years now don’t go below -7C, but 2010 was the exception, with a low of -19.5C on 19 Dec.

Most years our coldest temp will be between 0°C and 1°C, with a handful of sub 0°C lows every ten years

The average absolute minimum temperature at Luqa Airport is 5.5C/41.9F

In St. Paul's Bay it is 7.4C/45.3F

İzmit sees -5℃ one day in winter, which happens in January.

Record low in İzmit is -18℃ but the temperature didn't drop to below -9.7℃ since 1950.
