Yeah but south Florida and Washington are going to be above normal! What a warm pattern!

To be fair, a very large portion (about half) of that blue area has a less than 50% chance at being below average, assuming I'm interpreting the map correctly.

lol. Love the sarcasm. Yes, Large area has <50% chance. Just like the warmer areas in the Lower 48 have less than 50%.

In fact, I outlined in pink. Anything inside that circle is more than 50% chance of below normal according to them. That's a big area.

To be honest I hate these maps warm or cold. It's an average of Days 8-14. Could be torching hot on day 8 & 9 and well below normal Days 12-14. It's an ok "overall" view of things but they are wrong so many times. It's also a percentage of things.. The dashed lines on the map show the climo temps.

They'll have to adjust it east a bit with the higher percentages IMO. We'll see.

it's actually quite nice out temps in the low to mid 80s with dew points in the mid 60s.

Mid 60s dew points isn't terrible, could be better though. Sounds like a July evening up here
