Looks like the forumers who voted for after May 16th might win this poll...... Still denied a 20C temp through the middle of May?

That would be so funny

Though we still haven't seen 15C yet, and if we don't by 3 May (which we most likely won't) it will be the longest wait since at least 1985, so why not?

It's like the past 6 months have just merged into one long season.

The weather turned to **** here after 1st July last year. We are owed a warm May and a hot summer.

F*** this perpetual Spring/Autumn

Not here, August and September were nice. October wasn't too bad. November and December were the worst.

The current record high here is 13.7C. I thought it was incredible when April 2015's record high was 14.0C. Will probably hit 16C tomorrow, and not a day too early, lol. The biggest mindf**k is that Lapland might record Finland's highest temp for the month.

I have to give it to those cold epoch guys on twitter that chicagogeorge has posted. It played out as awful as the models initially showed.

July ended up close to average, but I don't think any month since early last year has recorded above average sunshine..

August was poor, September was poor, October was average but dull, November and December were 'good' temperature wise, but two of the dullest months on record. January, February meh, March poor, and now April looks to be ending on a bad note too.

Where is the end to this?

No, I was over sensationalizing right?

Hot summer? In London? Not possible. Maybe just an above average summer. But, you've been getting those the last couple of years right?

1983 was the longest wait on record, 20c wasn't recorded until 31st May. We all know how that summer turned out...

The 2nd latest date was 16th May, 3rd longest wait 10th May.

2013: June below, July above, August above. (Above overall)
2014: June above, July above, August below. (Above overall)
2015: June above, July average, August below. (Avg overall)

We still need another 3-4 years of above average summers to make up for 2007-2012.

There are hints at low 20s next weekend, as much as you'd like us to wait until June to hit 20c.
