Yes because Comodoro Rivadavia has an amazing climate for the latitude at almost 46 degrees from the equator! Southern Hemisphere mildness beats anywhere outside of Europe in winter
It's amazing! Southern cone has some breathtaking climates, look at Rosario or Paysandú or Parana or Cordoba! And if you like SoCal-type climates nothing beats coastal Perú

Eureka, California is at the same latitude as Motueka and both are right on the coast. Eureka is about 1.6C warmer in winter, with Eureka having warmer minimums, while Motueka has slightly warmer maximums.

Yeah but does Eureka grow the same range of plants as Motueka? I've been down to Eureka and never saw half the stuff you say grows in your climate.
Calling Upstate NY "brutal" is like calling Cincinatti "brutally hot" in the summer. Just over dramatic nonsense.
Come on man, imagine waking up everyday to temperatures in the teens with a foot of snow outside and strong gusts. And imagine this happening every month from late November to April. That's what life is like in Binghamton and Buffalo and Syracuse

I don't think they do - a cooler ocean means that the springs don't warm up quickly, with Motueka's first month of spring warmer than Eureka's last month of spring. Plus summer maximums are about 6C cooler than here. Still colder winters here though.

Average highs in the 20s and 30s aren't "brutal" or difficult to survive. I don't care about snow - I love snow, and have never had a hard time shoveling it or getting around in it. You're just a drama queen. There's plenty of people in Upstate NY who enjoy winter, cold and snow and all, however "brutal" it may be.

So in your mind there's snow on the ground every single day in Binghamton from November to April?
Come on man, you're just being silly. We know you hate cold weather but 'brutal' is not an accurate description of winter in Upstate NY. Maybe at the top of Mt Washington.

In 2015 there was still snow on the ground when I left for spring break in April. Brutal is not an exaggeration, it's reality
I think you guys need to get back on topic, cities that are north of 60N. Upstate New York has nothing to do with this thread.
