Still in the 90s in the CT River Valley, Hudson Valley, Allentown, Albany, Hot in Montreal...Oh forget the list.. its just hot everywhere. lol. except Long Island cooling off nicely.
An impressive 88 F/31 C at 5PM. That September sun still isn't weak enough to make it feel tolerable, but I guess it's still better than a June sun. Repeat with the heat tomorrow. I do see hope for next weekend.

Impressive heat in Michigan. Surprised there aren't any heat advisories there. Heat Warnings are in effect in parts of Ontario and Quebec.

...Extended Period Of High Heat Index Values...
An extended period of high heat index values will begin today and
continue right through Tuesday across northern New York and
Vermont. The heat index is a measure of how hot it really feels
when relative humidity is factored in with the air temperature.
Values are expected to be in the upper 80s to lower 90s during the
afternoon hours today through Tuesday due to record breaking heat
expected during this time period. This will create a greater
likelihood of heat related illnesses...especially when prolonged
exposure or strenuous activity takes place in these conditions.
Anyone with outdoor activities planned today through Tuesday may
be more susceptible to heat related illnesses...especially if you
will be outdoors for an extended period of time or taking part in
strenuous activity. Stay hydrated and take breaks in the
shade...check on elderly family or friends who may not have air
conditioning...and do not leave kids or pets unattended in
vehicles.
As the sun sets, a look at JOSE STILL Spinning off the coast!
Did Eastern MA struggle past 60s again today? How many days is that? Poor Boston? Mist, Drizzle on and off for days now thanks to Jose.
Finally sunny here. Looks like he consolidated. Outer bands don't stretch out as much like yesterday. But still a beauty to be honest.
Does it not get tired of spinning?? lol
Yesterday, Boston got a peek of sun but the wind was gusting to 35 mph. Still sustained 25 mph winds and gusts to 36 mph. Days of that must get old. Like a typical day on Mt. Washington... There was a brisk north wind today that made biking annoying, nice tailwind going back south.
