So has the $2 trillion not spent helped the unemployed?
That is a business decision, which only proves my point. They could hire us, but they won't because they don't want to hire Americans. Obummer didn't tell them to not spend the money, nor did the "do Nothing" Congress - Republican controlled, by the way - who ran on "jobs, jobs, jobs" and who has failed to deliver... much like "Hope and Change" also failed us.
Vote them all out in November, regardless of party.

How much did things like OBooBoocare and suing Boeing for their attempt at adding employment in SC factor into Business thinking hoarding cash was superior to investing cash?
I do agree incumbents who are anti business should be tossed out, no matter their party.

I do not support O'bummer, but I do feel people need to realize all sides of the issue here. For several decades, regardless of which party has controlled the White House or Congress, our jobs have been vanishing. We get a mountain of excuses and empty promises from both sides of the aisle each election cycle, and nothing ever improves. Both parties support the Bailouts, both support unaccountable bankers and businesses - not to be confused with good businesses who create jobs - and both sides have sold us out. We haven't had any real, non-Bubble fueled economic growth in this nation since about 2000, and that takes us through every combination of Republican and Democrat controlled presidents and Congresses... funny how the results are the same no matter which clowns get elected...
O'bummer is useless, sure - we agree on that. But so is the current Republican-controlled "Do Nothing" Congress who ran on "jobs, jobs, jobs" and hasn't done a single thing to encourage economic growth in this nation since elected. Like I said - vote them all out!

Both parties are useless. The only thing they are good for is helping out their filthy rich friends (Elite Top 1%) and collecting their big paycheck from us.

Actually the paycheck they get from us is usually peanuts compared to the "perks" they are getting from their corporate puppet masters.
Starting to wonder if employers are just holding out until after the election. By then they'll have some new excuses for not hiring.
Of course they will.
First of all, I don't care if the corporations don't like the current president - they have no right to gut the economy just to get their way. This is just another variation of the Crash in 2008. "Gee, that's a nice stock market you have there... it would be a shame if something happened to it... such as it falling 500 points per day. If you don't want that to happen, you'll have to give us at least a trillion dollars. Oh, and don't go asking any questions about that money or bad things might happen..."
It's economic terrorism, basically, and they'll keep it up even after the election.
1) If Obama wins, they will refuse to hire because they don't like him or his policies (the healthcare bill, etc.)
2) If Romney wins, they'll get all the deregulation and tax breaks they could ask for... and proceed to spend it on hiring sprees in China, India, etc.
3) Or, if the world economy slides back into an obvious Recession, it won't matter who wins since they can use "uncertainty" and "reduced demand" as excuses to lay people off and hire no one. Nevermind that the reduced demand is caused by so many people being out of work... but hey, corporate bank accounts are doing well, so who cares, eh?

every right to invest or hoard cash as they see fit.
