Wether I'm working or not, I just don't want to take the time needed to cook breakfast. So my breakfast has always been 400 calories of cookies, pastries, or a cake and one cup of chocolate soy milk. I guess if I want to eat a nice omelet or eggs and sausage I should cook them up the night before and just microwave that in the morning, but I've never done that. SO I eat a very convenient and fast breakfast. How about you? What do you eat for breakfast and does it take time to cook?

And carbs for breakfast has been ok for my figure; I don't get fat from that.

I use two packets of instant oatmeal and I eat them at work. Our coffee maker is one of the larger ones with a spout for hot water. I keep a bowl and spoon at work. I've never been able to stomach breakfast first thing in the morning.

Not yet but it's going to catch up with you one way or the other. You will either gain weight or get diabetes.

Anyway, they sell these little microwave egg cookers at stores like Target, WalMart, etc. I've also seen them in the grocery store. You crack the egg (I use egg whites only), put it in the cooker, close the cooker and pop it in the microwave for a minute. In the meantime, you can make toast or an english muffin to put the egg on with a piece of cheese. It takes all of 90 seconds to do.

I'm not working at the moment but when I was, I was always up 1 1/2 hours before I had to leave. I like to be able to shower, relax a bit, watch the news, have breakfast, etc before I leave.

I do a cup of coffee, a greek yogurt, and a piece of fruit pretty religiously. I eat during my commute.

I will sometimes put oatmeal in a cup with a little water. I'll put this in the refrigerator before I go to sleep and it will be ready to eat in the morning. Another thing I like are hard boiled eggs. I usually don't feel like eating a big breakfast, so those are great. Granola bars or protein bars are also a common staple. I keep a big box of them at work in case I get hungry, or if I didn't feel like eating breakfast before I left.

Not really a big "sweet" eater.

Too bad. Take the time.

Get up 20 minutes earlier if you have to.
Get up 30 minutes earlier and pack a lunch as well.

Enjoy the savings and the nutritional value.

I don't eat breakfast before going to work. "Breakfast" consists of a couple of cups of coffee in the morning that my employer pays for.

I keep a box of cereal at work. We have milk in the fridge. And of course plenty of coffee.

What savings exactly?

There's no incentive to save money when it is not even your money at all

If I'm in a hurry but want something more substantial than cereal, I microwave an egg. I spray a small bowl with pam and cook one egg in the microwave for 1 minute, checking half way. It makes a perfect toast size circle.

In the morning before work, though, I always have cereal.
