Since this blog is essentially a place where I can express myself regarding whatever is on my mind...I would like to take another opportunity to highlight once again the need to keep our eyes open about the general direction the United States is heading in.

Because...well...because it's on my mind, that's why!

It's not good folks. It is so bad in fact that at the risk of being seen as alarmist and perhaps a bit exaggerated or even nutty I would highly suggest that all...

I am unable to reach true Christian Leaders for advice and until I do my instinct for now is to possibly polish my blog entries. THERE MAY BE A BIG WARNING HERE. I respect privacy but I will know at the end of this month if anything was considered.
I certainly would pray for their Leadership.

So Long, Coastal Maine!

We've loved Maine's coastline, beautiful from every point we've seen. Today, we head inland to a place called Skowhegan, and then on to Quebec.

I don't believe in sugar-coating my view of life. My mother was overly romantic, and it was a burden trying to live up to her rosy view of life. I believe in the end, it's all good, but only because we look at the less attractive aspects of life, and improve them as we best are able.
