Looking to move to Union or Essex county

I am looking for anyone who can tell me about these areas. We have been looking at homes in Millburn, Maplewood, Summit and Chatham. We really like Summit. How is the area, are there preferred areas within Summit to live? We saw a nice house close to the Jefferson Elementary school. We have been to this area a few times and it seems nice both weekdays/weekends. Our priority is the area, safety, niceness etc.. we are looking in the 500-700 price range. Ok I am a young punk-ish girl. I luv nature stuff and music. I want to live close 2 the city (15-20 min drive) but @ the same time I want 2 live by meadows, valleys, mountains and lakes w/ lots of nature/animals. I lyk kool calm people and I lyk suburb houses w/ big yards. I want a safe area and a ranch within bike riding distance. I want 2 know which area of colorado 2 live in.
