The Relocating Poster

Posted 06-24-2008 at 07:52 PM by BagongBuhay

Okay...I m going to start with the Relocating poster, rather a tame topic to begin with. Found within every state forum, the Relocating poster can be very specific or can be on the opposite spectrum of generalities. It could range from "I am moving to so-and-so for a job so where is the best place to live" to "I am looking for a 3200 sq ft in the XXX community and can afford up to $500K, what can I get for it" type of posts. The first one is answered by only the most patient...

Big hockey fans like me do exsist in NC. Some may be new to the game, others are life-long fans. Transplants from all over the country, espescially from the Northeast and Michigan, places where hockey is king. So one would think the local sports media in Charlotte would be at least approving to the sport, even with a team in Raleigh that won the championship in '06. But, thats not really the case.

In 2002, when the 'Canes were making their cinderella playoff run, the local media here...

My City Data Addiction

This is my first blog entry on this forum, but I'm not new to blogs. I started one in a hobby forum, but because I slowly drifted into a slacker status with my projects, I had no new one to post and keep up with the rest. Man, they must quilt 24/7 over there.

I contemplated on a theme for my blog so that I would be motivated to keep posting on a regular basis, so for an opening, I think I would discuss my CD addiction.

I've heard many people here in CD admit to this,...

Trying my hand at this

Posted 06-24-2008 at 10:36 AM by JoAnn5

I feel quite adventuresome, trying my hand at all this new stuff! Hope i don't mess up badly.
It's nice to have a place to write like this, isn't it? I must say that i LOVE the TN C-D forum... read it several times a day. Now that i'm officially retired i'll probably be making a real nuisance of myself by posting so much. Anyway... thank you for reading this, hope some of you can respond so i'll know if i'm just talking to the clouds or not...lol. And thanks for befriending me......
