I have recently decided to relocate from southern California to the northeastern part of Nevada.

No, I haven't lost my mind. I just got back from a teaching interview there (I got the job). I really think I'm going to be happy there. The landscape is just so beautiful and open, with mountains, lakes, waterfalls and creeks.

In fact, if there are any other teachers out there looking for a job, I would encourage you to check Elko out. The pay is good, the weather...

Well, I do appreciate all the good suggestions, but I think this is a situation that is essentially "unfixable" ...at least in this life. I know this will make me sound bad, but... it's the ugly truth. As I mentioned in my first post, I'm not someone who's been especially fond of being around other people's children. I have a real heart for the plight of children, but the fact of the matter is ~~sometimes they get on my nerves. Yep, I've confessed it!

The signs of spring have faded to the horizon, the sun glows luminously so bright and everlasting. The humidity here in the valley is with you. The bluffs look like a rain forest so green with the haze covering them, the sun ascends the hills as the day progresses. As I walk out the front doors of work I embrace the beauty of the area I live and work in. As the afternoon humidity wears off the dark clouds come over the sky high bluffs with such force and energy and seconds later that beautiful sun...
