Is not the first time Mexican civilizations are linked to others, some people from the US(Black) say that the Olmecs are descendants of black civilizations of Africa and now the Hindus want to relate Mayans with them, interesting but...
I have read also that Mexicans are descendants of Atlantis, but all are just suppositions.
Is been discovered that the Mayans are descendants of Teotihuacanos; All started when "Fire is born" took by force the lands of what today is Guatemala and began one of the greatest empires ever existed.
People in the world think that Mexicans are not capable and smart enough to create this amazing civilizations, thats for sure.

200 years apart and the two brothers still having traditions so similar, prove that our bondage was so tight and absorbed in both sides of the pacific.

Jajaja true

Here are some similarities :

Pinata
Arras ( 13 coins given by the groom to the bride as a promise to take care of her )
Lazos ( Chords ) in weddings
Semana Santa reenactment
Quincinera party / debut
Tuba drink
Tamales
Champorado
Altars in the houses

Also, the way ordinary Mexicans decorate their houses minus the colour, a bit similar to how ordinary Filipinos decorate theirs. Both are fond of hanging stuffs on the walls and hanging curtains on the doors.

Why do I have this feeling that PH could be a better country if Japanese prolonged their occupation! No Spanish and no Americans.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Spanish and Americans
