Regarding non marital sex, men justify by asking "why buy the cow when the milk is free?"

Women have responded by asking "why buy the pig when all you get is a little sausage?"

The Catholic/Protestant idea is not that God created Adam and Eve with original sin, but that God created them flawed... I mean, "gifted" enough to attain it for themselves and the rest of humanity through vicarious generational grudge punishment.

Really clears that up, right

Thanks for posting, O Luminous one. Oops sorry. LuminousTruth. Thou shalt not fooq about with posters' names. Watching those was a relax after a tough day pinch -hitting for momentus.
I remember the hymn -or rather a sort of hypnotic chant that the goons at my school had us recite at the end of every assembly - first thing in the morning, so they Got To Us before we knew what was happening.

'God be in my head'.

That is such a creepy concept at it must explain the need I have to go out and get my wife to smack me in the face in between posts just so I know I'm in the real world.

Because these people have God in their so much that it is so very needful that they have two brain -halves. So they can have one half knowing what God wants, knowing what he thinks, knowing what he means and knowing exactly what he thinks of atheist bastards like me, and the other half of the mind that needs someone at least coinciding with the real world insofar that they accept the probability of uniformitarianism sufficiently that they are not afraid to get into their car and turn the ignition without fear that it won't suddenly decide to turn into a vat of nitroglycerine.

Yep, these people have God in their head all right. To such a degree that it is impossible to tell his mind from that of God, since they coincide on every view, opinion and scriptural interpretation whatsoever.

And these people all have God in their heads to a similar degree; but what is really something to hold the front page for is that the gods they all have in their heads are all different. This can be subjected to empirical verification by getting a bunch of them together on the Christianity Forum and let them all talk together about the likes, dislikes, opinion, views doctrines and scriptural interpretations of this one single god which is being in their head, and in their understanding - just as the school mantra had it.

And the only difference between them and a bunch of political self -manipulators all shouting each other down on a newschat show, is that they can't raise their voices a decibel or two and are confined to typing in block capitals, underlined. In violet.

If this doesn't amuse you, it may be transferred to a suitable thread. e.g Things I've observed.
