Looking to add 6 stations.
Hmm. Via what venues is MARTA seeking public comment? Source?

But there's very little for about 3 miles between there and North Point. I don't think North Alpharetta should be encouraged to develop more density in employment. That will just drive residential development further north into Cherokee, Forsyth and beyond..

That part will come from a P3.

All these people with all these opinions, many of which are good, should actually go to this to put in their input. Otherwise it is all for entertainment purposes.

i think metro atlanta has gotten past the point where a gain for one part of the metro area is a loss for another part. there are just too many people at this point for a gain in one area to seriously affect another area negatively. i guess my point is that intown will continue to grow at this point whether the north metro does or not.

on the same token, it sure is annoying when cobb county shoves it in all of our faces whenever they get a new employer and act like it's the detriment to the rest of us that 'alliance condoms and elastic, LLC' chose cobb county for their corporate headquarters.

as for growth in cherokee and forsyth; that's why there is development there. you don't think all of those people are commuting to downtown, do you? the job center in alpharetta is driving development there.

They've been paying for forty years and only have a couple bus routes. Alpharetta has a CBD that is very important to the metro economy. Much more important than many areas that have had rail access for decades while contributing practically nothing to the economy.

Very little demand for bus.
