Looks like Keuchel is signing with the White Sox. Another team, much like the Angels that has had a sneaky, very good off season so far.

Good point. I find when WS have good years after many bad ones, they tend to do it with "under the radar" moves like this.

Great to see many teams, including White Sox, trying to compete by being aggressive in this post season.

The only notable acquisition for the Los Angeles Angels is Anthony Rendon.

Julio Tehéran recently signed a one-year deal. I would not get excited about a starting pitcher who is mediocre to below expectations at best.

The White Sox continue to behave like they believe that they will be in the race in 2020.

Quote:
Slugger Edwin Encarnacion and the Chicago White Sox have reached agreement on a one-year deal for $12 million with a club option for 2021 at $12 million, sources told ESPN on Wednesday.
Encarnacion will be 37 when the season begins, but it is just a one year deal and he has still been putting up OPS over .800 even during his decline.

Between their promising young players like Tim Anderson, Yoan Moncada and Eloy Jimenez, resigning Jose Abreu and signing Gio Gonzalez, Chicago hopes to make up the 22 games they finished behind the Twins in 2019.

And if not, they might have some nice veterans to trade for prospects in July.
