It really just made reference to it: Birmingham Then and Now: Exhibit to highlight Terminal Station, planned Rotary Trail | AL.com

But it's encouraging because: 1. the u/c status hasn't changed, and 2. the article was written a few days ago

For a Bham project, sometimes no news is good news. As long as they're not announcing its cancellation, it's a go. But I feel confident about the rotary trail, mainly because they've already started grading work on it, they continue to reference it in publications, and you're dealing with a group that can see it through.

I love the design of this! I think Parkside is already becoming one of the most picturesque parts of town... This will only add to that.

^That sounds cool^

With some real money behind it from UAB, Children's and Alabama Power it could turn out to be quite special.

Now, I think - the pedestrian bridge from RR park to the intermodal is the only thing recently announced that is waiting to move forward.

Hope they follow through with it and with the original design. It's expensive, but the renderings were great. Would become one of the best skyline vantages in the city. Just another nice urban stroke for downtown.

I'm hoping its delay is only because of the intermodal facility's construction.

I'm happy that they are doing this. I just can't imagine why I would need to take my beverage outside without being allowed to take it into other venues. Especially at Uptown. Do they have plans to make it more lively outside?
