Everyone is a child of the devil until they become a child of God.
He has children...they are also called willfull sinners. They don't know God, and God does not know them...they don't abide in Him, nor does He abide in them...they don't love Him and neither does He love them.
Anyone who says they know Him and abide in Him and keepeth not His commandments is a liar and the truth is not in them.
1 John 3:6-10
6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
