People will be judged, justice will be served to all for everything that has occurred on this planet. Then those who have hated God and goodness and Jesus and instead loved themselves, the world and their own sin will be destroyed in the lake of fire along with the fallen angels.
He will also destroy the heavens and the earth with fire, consuming all the elements. And after that He will recreate everything pure, untainted, and new. There will be no more pain, no more sorrow, no more death and no more sin.
The inevitable will eventually happen, yes. Sin and sinful man will not exist forever. Our mortal bodies, will not exist forever. It doesn't say anything about torture, that is your imagination. Being cast in to a lake of fire might not sound like everyones idea of a great time, but it is a quick way to go. Do not misunderstand me though. God's wrath will be poured out on the wicked and evil men should not believe they will get off easy
So, not torture, just some unpleasant experience of God's wrath. Like, a stern talking to, maybe?
John you seem a bit to ecstatic about this. Is this what makes you happy? Your belief in a great judgment of others ,just so you can feel good about being right? Intense joy at the death, and destruction of others is unfathomable.
You can test the Bible for yourself to determine if it is truly the Word of God.
It makes many claims and prophecies and contains many historical accounts of the world.
Judge it by it's content. You don't need to dance around it like its a house of cards.
If it truly is of God it will stand on it's own against any amount of criticism or else it is not of God.
Only God knows. We can only speculate. I trust that His judgements will be just
