Join the conversation Janelle. I am standing. I am capable of holding my own in any conversation. There are some real admitted sinners trying to tell me I am doing what they do, sin. And now they need your protection.

Finn told me he cannot go one hour without sinning. I am concerned for him and have said so. I would give him a big hug if we were sitting together. It must be terrible for him. That is my tone. I am sincere in my concern.

It's not that easy. An alcoholic is always an alcoholic. A sinner is always a sinner. Hopefully, recovering.
Is smoking a sin? Don't start.

Is drinking a sin? Don't start.

Are you addicted to sinning? If you are addicted to sinning I'd guess you are saying "Sorry, God" multiple times during the day.

Maybe you can get one of those watches that beeps every hour. Most people get them to remind them to take a pill. But you could listen for the Beep! then say, "Sorry, God" and you wouldn't have to try to remember if you apologized to God for sinning every chance you got. That would probably be a good purchase for you.

So I am assuming that the Quran is "good if you think it is a good book to follow"? Or the Book of Mormon? Or is it only the Bible that is "good if you think the bible is a good book to follow"?

By your post above, we are to assume you think any book is a good book to follow, as long as you think it is a good book to follow.

Observation. Experience. Consideration.

And then I guess.

And it can be a way for some fundamentalists to avoid the painful task of thinking altogether.

He should probably get one of those watches too.

note to self: invest in companies that make beeping watches. the fundamentalists are a HUGE untapped market

Note to mods-----------

This thread has become a "who is more righteous thread", not what the topic is. My advice is to close it.

Thanks.

I have a picture in my mind of FCI's sitting at a table, and ordering at a restaurant in scripture.

And I guess some Christians feel it's their job to direct the mods.

Then message him personally if you want to become his counselor but stay on topic of the thread.

NO, but we do have report buttons all over this place and the mods can't be everywhere at once.
