I'm sure the hypothetical guy here has as unique a story and ideal when applied to any one individual as there are individuals that find themselves in such circumstances. The ones I know, I would put self loathing and loneliness above the others loves you list here. Have you befriended any to know answers yourself?

Do you know many Christians who think it is a complete non-issue and don't even try? Maybe they sin openly and then offer excuses to justify it. Or maybe they justify the sins of their bothers as opposed to helping them back on the path. I think most Christians know how Christ wants us to behave.
