ETA: Seems kinda childish to me, but whatevs.
You're not Jesus.

But yes, we can all agree that the klan is horrible and no good. But it's interesting that you're all for free speech until it's something you disagree with. The point of the 1st Amendment is that even those you disagree with have a right to say what they want to say, or not say what you want them to say. Not so you can tell people what is right and wrong according to your whim.

Still can't respond to my post, huh BF? Guess we can lump you with Jeff and Finn now....

Although I fin this post quite funny. You say that the point of the 1st Amendment is that even those you disagree with have a right to say what they want, not so you can tell people what is right or wrong. You leave out one major point though, and that is the fact that you can say whatever you want, but that doesn't keep you from any and all consequences, and there are limits.

The whole part about "not so you can tell people what is right and wrong" is what I really find funny though, mainly because you are a fundie, and just about all you guys do is tell others what is right and wrong. You do this, while apparently not being able to see a difference between the KKK and a gay wedding, so you obviously need help in determining what is right and wrong.

Or, like you and the other spiritually-stunted fundies - occasionally crawl out from under your rock.

Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge. by professing it some have strayed concerning the faith). see also (Rom. 16:17 I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them).

sadly MANY wants to claim "Christian", but ONLY want to listen to Jehovah God's words, unless it hits a soft spot. we as "Christians", can't accept some parts of the bible, but ignore or try to fight other parts. if we feel that it would still be acceptable in Jesus and his Father's eyes. then we are sadly fooling ourselves. we ARE TO LOVE EVERYONE... but NOT their actions! what's funny to me, is the fact that the MANY who sees homosexual acts as wrong, (and it is!) see (Rom.1:26,27 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet).

are the same ones who have sex out of marriage or are Adulterers. which Jehovah God puts those acts in the SAME category as homosexual acts, (1Cor. 6:9-10 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites. nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God). NO "Christian" or religion should teach hatred. but they are to OBEY God's words, rather than follow the teachings, beliefs and ways of this debauched world. I can love ALL, but I will NOT follow those who go against Jehovah God's words. peace
jojo, go look up when the word "homosexual" was first mistranslated from Greek and placed in our English bibles.

You are duped. The false teaching has been swallowed by YOU!!!!

What you hear about homosexuals proclaimed so loudly from the pulpit is all too often translated less loftily on the playground. Why does preaching your god's truth result in such harm to others?

Why is it that the “red” Bible Belt states of the South such as Louisiana, Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, Georgia, Arkansas, and Texas with the most “christian” rules have the highest incarceration rates, often the highest teen pregnancy rates (despite having abstinence only teaching), worst healthcare, are leading most states as far more dangerous and with high reported property crime rates, are worst of all when it comes to STDs, and yet boast the most number of churches per capita?

If your religion is so good why are so many in the Bible Belt thrown into prison, become the victims of crimes, get impregnated as teenagers, have simply atrocious STD rates (see the map at the STD link), and provide little health care for their own citizens?

I already do that. Then I fly out at night to seek the throbbing carotid arteries of mean people. Best to draw those covers up tight around the neck before you fall asleep.

The fundies won't admit it publicly but amongst themselves they would blame all that on the higher percentage of people with more melanin in their skin in those states.

AND the fact that they haven't the least bit of concern about people with higher melanin!! Therefore, no attempt to solve the social ills.

I'll never get a legitimate response from any of them, but I'll make sure they see it over and over, ad nauseum.

Do you honestly believe that Christianity teaches one to do any of those things? Honest question. I see no command in Scripture to do any of those things.

The obvious answer is that people are NOT adhering to Christian faith.
