Smaller cites like Springfield, MA (35ish miles ESE of Albany, NY) have a huge lighting ceremony of Forest Park which is ~750 Acres, as well as Public Buildings like the City hall, Symphony Hall ect.

NYC followed by Chicago.

The rest of those cities simply can't compare.

Metro Matt, Post Oak Blvd would be so great if all the stores were lined up to the sidewalks and the parking was behind the stores.

Yeah...unfortunately Uptown Houston is not very pedestrian friendly.

Westheimer is just crazy traffic around this time of year.

I think NYC has the best Christmas spirit.
I grew up in NY state, and every christmas my mom,brother and I would take the bus to the city to see all the stores and decorations.
There would be people standing in line to walk by the store windows and look at the animated displays.
It was a very magical time of year for us.
