This is what they call the PennConnects project. Over 3.8 Billion in investments and 6 Million sq feet of development alone from Penn


Drexel, Brandywine, and Amtrak are exploring the development of another 4 million just north of Penn as was posted by Rightonwlanut earlier

Vornado pitches another doozy of a project for Pentagon City


I don't usually post projects outside of D.C. proper in the suburbs, however, this eight phase 3,212 unit mega project in Pentagon City is going on phase six right now and is looking really good these days.

And for those wondering how D.C. proper is building and absorbing so many residential housing units a month, we are still adding over 1,000 people a month to the city and people are still moving to the city in droves:

How are you getting the city estimates so quickly? I thought they didn't come out until May.

State estimates came out today. Surprised city-data wasn't on top of it.

Chicago has a lot of under construction and proposed skyscrapers coming up, but what seems most interesting about the city is the number of major public attractions that have been done recently or on the way.

In regards to parks, recent years have seen the opening of the Bloomingdale Trail which is a long linear park built into a former elevated railway, the opening of a major park and nature reserve on Northerly Island, and an ongoing expansion of the Chicago Riverwalk.

Also coming up are two major museums. One is the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art and the other is Obama Presidential Library and Museum.
