You guys are talking about 2009 data when D.C. has added over 60,000 people since then lol....

If we want to talk about the growth in a 200 sq. mile footprint to match Chicago's, it would be astronomical growth.
So when are you going to get us that video of 7th Street showing 50,000 pedestrians?

The data is pretty consistent with most of the polls here on C-D. Is it much of a surprise that the cities with the largest pedestrian crowds in their cores are also rated the highest in polls?

But here we are again and you have yet to dispute any of my links. 79% increase is significant. Where are these people?

am surprised actually that Philly has a higher volume station than either DC or Chicago in City Hall station at ~57K per day
Could you post the numbers by station?

I'm not, D.C. has 6 major station's for downtown. Union Station, Metro Center, Gallery Place, Farragut West, Farragut North, and L'Enfant Plaza.

That's a question you need to ask DDOT. Are they biased too?

Yeah, no rush. One side of Michigan Avenue near the Water Tower registered 32,287 pedestrians. The busiest side of 7th Street registered 6,140 pedestrians. By 2389, I'm sure 7th Street will be where Michigan Avenue is now.

I guarantee when I post my video, it will have just as many people walking as the video you posted.

And no, I don't take anything in D.C. prior to 2014 serious. No city has changed as much as D.C. post 2009 recession. Sorry sir!!! So, unless you have some current data, don't bother. Shoot, Mt. Vernon Triangle was all parking lots in 2009. Have you been there lately? LOL.............
